Kindred Horizons Care Group Limited
What is Kindred Horizons Care Group?
Kindred Horizons Care Group is a specialist provider of therapeutic residential care for children and young people across England and Wales. We deliver high-quality, Ofsted-regulated homes that provide safe, stable, and nurturing environments where young people with complex emotional, behavioural, and developmental needs can recover from trauma and build positive futures.
How does Kindred Horizons support children and young people?
We support children through trauma-informed and relationship-based care. Each young person receives individualised support tailored to their needs, focusing on emotional regulation, resilience, and stability. Our trained staff provide consistent caregiving, structured routines, and therapeutic interventions that promote healing, secure attachments, and personal development.
What makes your care approach unique?
Our approach is grounded in relational permanence and trauma-informed practice. We prioritise building trusting, consistent relationships that help children feel safe, understood, and valued. By recognising the impact of trauma on behaviour and development, we provide structured, compassionate care that supports long-term emotional recovery and positive life outcomes.
Can families visit their children?
Yes. We actively encourage appropriate family involvement as part of our holistic care approach. Maintaining safe and positive family relationships can be important for a child’s emotional wellbeing and identity. We work collaboratively with local authorities and families to facilitate visits in a supportive and carefully planned way.
What outcomes do you aim to achieve for children?
Our aim is to provide stable placements where children can experience safety, belonging, and emotional growth. Through therapeutic care and consistent support, many young people achieve improved emotional wellbeing, increased resilience, better engagement in education, and the development of positive and trusting relationships.
How can professionals make a referral or enquiry?
Local authorities and commissioning professionals can contact Kindred Horizons to discuss placement availability, suitability, and referral processes. We work collaboratively to ensure that each placement is carefully matched to meet the child’s needs and promote stability and positive outcomes.
